Never use closing tags in PHP, they add unnecessary whitespace which could seriously mess up your website or application. Plus they’re not required.
I got a question by a fellow programmer last tuesday about why I don’t use closing PHP tags. First of all, PHP doesn’t require it, so you even save a few bits on your total filesize. After years of fooling around on the internet I finally decided to do something with this domain and start a blog on it. You’ll mostly find my ramblings on here, lots of programming-related topics and the occasional music topic. Having said that, I still haven’t made up my mind about a design so in the meantime I’m using the Titan theme by The Theme Foundry.
