Not too long ago Gmail promised us “better ads”. However I’d like to see some cool new functionality instead of some obtrusive advertisements.
To get rid of the advertisements in the new default Gmail theme ( which is currently available as a preview ) just use the following userstyle.

}
And that’s it, you’re all done!
